About NeuroNest Collective
Walking this journey alongside you
NeuroNest was created from my own journey as a parent. As the mother of an autistic daughter, I have experienced the beauty, complexity and challenges of supporting a neurodivergent child, particularly around sleep, regulation and everyday routines.
My experiences as a parent have shaped so much of how I see and understand children. I know what it feels like to search for answers, to question whether you are doing the right thing, and to want support that understands your child rather than trying to change who they are.
This is why I created NeuroNest. I wanted to walk alongside families navigating similar paths and offer the kind of support I believe families deserve: practical, compassionate, evidence-informed and grounded in genuine respect for each child.
Alongside my lived experience, I bring my professional background as an early childhood teacher, inclusion specialist and sleep consultant, with postgraduate study in autism and a Master of Autism Studies.
At NeuroNest, I do not begin with the question, “How do we change this child?” I begin by getting to know the child and understanding what may be shaping their sleep.
This means considering their individual sleep patterns, body clock, sensory preferences, regulation, communication, need for predictability, connection and emotional safety, alongside the knowledge their family already holds about them.
Together, we develop support that respects the child’s neurodivergent identity, builds on their strengths and works within the reality of family life.
For me, NeuroNest brings together my experience as a mother, my professional knowledge and my belief that children should be understood and supported as the individuals they are.
